The RWA Conference was great, especially the tutorial “Inside the Mind of a Killer”. Strange tutorial for a romance writers conference you might think? Not really, as the RWA acknowledges that many of its members write for mainstream publication, and therefore need tutorials that cover wide-ranging topics.
It was great to catch up with friends and hear the latest industry news. Flew into Brisbane late Sunday night and discovered that my luggage had gone somewhere else. They traced it to Perth in Western Australia that night, and the next day found it in Broome! It got to see more of Australia than I did!

For many years now I’ve gone to the Brisbane Writers Festival, and I always enjoy attending the panels, catching up with friends and meeting new people. This year I’m on a panel, which is very exciting, especially as my fellow panelists are Matthew Reilly, Sandy McCutcheon, and Greg Wilson, the Chair is Lisa Forrest, and we’re talking about thrillers. So if you’re in Brisbane on Thursday 30th September at 10.00am, come to the Readers’ Marquee for a look and say hello afterwards.

For anyone who is interested in the German editions of my books, the website is http://www.luebbe.de/ (enter “Sandy Curtis” in the site’s search box).
